Bring On All The Pretenders

I stumbled upon these stunning images of one of my favourite artists Taylor Swift. Coincidentally, I have been listening to her new album and it has some really great songs! I am not a big country fan but I do like a few crossover artists such as Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. I really love listening to music that reminds me of home and tells a story. I must say that Taylor is a master at storytelling in a way that relates to teenagers - big selling point! She's also such a great role model and I think teens today really need a genuine person (and artist) like her in the media to look up to.

Dressing for the Holiday Party with Zac Posen

Navy Blue is the perfect hue for holiday parties. I am so excited about the royal, navy blues and dark greens in the Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011 Collection this year. Rather than opting for the traditional red festive colours, why not try an understated darker colour. The fur or eyelet jackets make for perfect cover ups in this cool winter weather. Try a fitted dark green pantsuit rather than the popular sequin dress this year. A dress with some structure at the waist but volume in the skirt makes for an excellent statement peice.
